Do you have a showroom? At this time, World Wide Knives is an online shop only; there is no showroom. Our mailing address is a private mailbox location operated by another company; there are no knives at that location to view, everything is handled through the website only.
What forms of payment do you accept? We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, money orders in U.S. dollars, and personal checks. Credit card payments may be made through our secure shopping cart or over the phone. All payments will be verified before order shipment. For credit card orders, we must be able to verify the card billing address (the address at which you receive your monthly bill/statement) prior to order shipment.
How long will it take for my order to get to me? Order delivery times average one week to ten days, depending upon your location. If you need expedited shipping, simply email us or place your request through the "Special Shipping Requests or Instructions" box in the opening page of the shopping cart. World Wide Knives ships via both UPS and Priority Mail, and also direct-ships from warehouses in Florida and California. We handle all requests in the order in which they are received, and treat each order as urgent. If for some reason an order is delayed, we will contact you to let you know when you may expect receipt.
How can I track the status of an order? If you have included a valid email address in your order, you will receive a copy of your order request as well as order tracking information either directly from us, from UPS Quantum View Notify, or U.S. Postal Service upon shipment. If you have not included an email with your order, you may email us and we will confirm your order status and tracking information.
How do I know if the item I want is in stock? Though we attempt to keep our online listings as up-to-date as possible, some items listed may not be available at the time you place your order. If an item is out of stock that you have ordered, we will contact you via email, if provided, or phone to see if you would prefer to cancel your order or make a substitution. If you need to know stocking status beforehand, just email us and we will let you know what is available. We process credit card final payments upon order shipment.
Will you match competitors' prices? Though we do not change our listed prices to match those of our competitors, at World Wide Knives our customers save on their purchases three ways:
1) Our prices are discounted every day from 25-50% the Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price. 2) We have a flat shipping fee of only $6.99 for all orders shipped to U.S. customers (including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the territories). This flat rate covers packaging/shipping/insurance/handling for any single order regardless of the number of items ordered. 3) Our regular customers who place shippable orders within 60 days of their last shipped invoice enjoy an additional 4% off their merchandise total (excluding shipping) through our Frequent Buyer Reward Program.
Is there a discount if I order multiple items? Though the individual item price is not discounted for an order of multiple items, the flat rate shipping fee, currently $6.99, covers shipping and handling costs for any number of items shipped to a U.S. address. International orders will have the international shipping fee added to their order upon shipment.
I'm not sure the knife I want to order is legal in my state. What do I do? Knife ownership and carry laws differ from state to state, as well as municipality to municipality. You must be at least 18 years of age to order from World Wide Knives, and compliance with your local/state laws is completely your own responsibility. Contact your local law enforcement agencies for laws/ordinances/codes in your area prior to placing an order. World Wide Knives cannot ship butterfly knives to California or Massachusetts, and we do not sell automatic, or switchblade, knives.
What do I do if the item I receive is defective? Though we do not knowingly sell any products that are considered by the factory to be "seconds", occasionally a defective product will slip through and reach a consumer. If this occurs, please email us for instructions.
How do I go about making a return? World Wide Knives accepts items for return or exchange within 30 days of shipment.Returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, and will be accepted only in new, unblemished, re-sellable condition with all original factory packaging and paperwork. Where do I send my knife for repairs/warranty? Each product World Wide Knives sells is warranted (if warranty is offered) by its manufacturer. Please keep all manufacturer's packaging/paperwork that comes with your knife, as you will need to contact the manufacturer directly for any warranty or repair questions.
