Company Policies

Here you will find World Wide Knives' company policies detailed. Please read these policies as they are the foundation of fairness that allow us to offer our products at prices significantly discounted from retail, and all customer request fulfillments will be bound by these policies. If you have any questions, please email us and we will be glad to assist you.


Sales
All sales are subject to availability. If we are out of stock on an item you request, we will contact you to see if you would rather cancel or make a substitution. We normally process final payments only if an order request is fulfilled; if for some reason we cannot ship an order and payment has already been processed, the payment will be refunded. All credit card orders are processed by World Wide Knives.

Privacy Policy
We collect personal information for the sole purpose of fulfilling order requests. Your private information is never sold, shared, or otherwise provided to any other institution or party for any reason. Credit card information is collected using a SSL-encrypted secure server, and deleted once the transaction is complete.

Legal Issues
Not all of the items featured in this website are legal in all states and municipalities. You must be at least 18 years of age to make purchases from World Wide Knives.It is the responsibility of the buyer to ascertain and follow all local, state, and national laws. Your purchase of merchandise from World Wide Knives, whether by phone, mail, in person, or through the internet, legally binds you and your heirs, assigns, tranferees, and personal representatives as follows: You certify that you are of legal age to purchase the merchandise ordered and that the merchandise purchased is legal to own and purchase in the municipality/district/county/and state in which you reside. By offering merchandise for sale, World Wide Knives does not represent or warrant that any specific purchaser may legally purchase, own, or possess the merchandise ordered. When you purchase merchandise from World Wide Knives, you agree to assume all risks associated with and/or arising from your ownership and use of the merchandise, and agree to indemnify and hold World Wide Knives harmless from any and all claims brought by any person or entity against World Wide Knives related to and/or arising from your ownership and/or use of the merchandise. Furthermore, the act of placing an order will signify that you have read and understand this agreement and accept the terms presented herein.

Returns
Returns must be received within 30 days of the invoice date, in original factory packaging with all factory paperwork, in unblemished, re-sellable condition, and must include a copy of your invoice or packing slip. All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, and refunds will be issued either in the form of a credit to your card or a company check, depending upon the order's original method of payment. World Wide Knives is not responsible for returns that are not received by us, so please ship your return in a manner in which you may track its receipt. The address for returns is:

Exchanges
If you wish to make an exchange, the exchange request must be received within 30 days of the original invoice date. Items sent for exchange must be in new, re-sellable condition with original factory packaging and paperwork, and must include a copy of your invoice. Exchanges are credited at the item cost plus $6.99 for the return shipment. Limit one exchange per initial order. Note: William Henry, Entrek USA, and special-order items cannot be returned or exchanged (an example of a Special Order item would be an item that is a limited edition).

Defective Merchandise
Though World Wide Knives does not knowingly or intentionally ship merchandise that is defective, there may be times when a defective item slips through from the factory and is passed on to the customer. If you receive an item you believe to be defective, please Email Us first to describe what you believe to be the defect. If the item is truly defective, you must re-package the item in its original factory boxing with any accompanying paperwork and accessories and ship the item, along with a copy of your original invoice, to:

Include a brief note detailing what you believe is defective about the item. Upon receipt and inspection of the return, if it is determined that the item is defective, you will be shipped a replacement and will be reimbursed for your shipping cost. If the item is determined not to be defective, you will be contacted about its disposition. Note: If you decide to return the item for credit, the 15% restocking fee will apply.


Shipping
It is the customer's responsibility to provide an address at which an order can be legally delivered, and the customer is responsible for the receipt of the shipment. All order requests are processed in the order in which they are received, and normally ship within 2 business days. Normal order delivery time is 7 - 10 days, depending upon location. Expedited shipping may be requested either through the shopping cart or email; we will do our best to comply with expedited requests. International shipping costs are added to the order total (including the $6.99 processing fee) at the time of shipment.

APO/FPO Military Orders
Military orders, including those shipping to APO and FPO addresses, are processed the same as domestic orders so there are no additional charges for shipment. We do still need the valid credit card billing address, so if you are on deployment, we will need your permanent address as your invoice address (this should be the address at which you receive your credit card bill/statement), and your APO/FPO address as your ship-to address. All APO/FPO orders are shipped via Priority Mail, and may take two or more weeks to reach their destination depending as they go through the military mail system for delivery.

International orders
We welcome international orders, but stress that it is the responsibility of the customer to obtain any applicable import permits/customs clearances, etc., BEFORE placing your order. Once an international order has left our warehouse, it is out of our control, and may take several weeks to receive, though it normally takes only a couple of weeks, and ships via Global Priority or Global Express Mail, depending upon the value and/or weight of the shipped package. International orders must be shipped directly to the cardholder at the verified credit card billing address. No refunds will be given on international orders. Most international orders are shipped Global Express Mail, starting at around $20.00 for most countries, depending upon weight, and will be added to your order upon shipment. Some international orders (i.e. orders originating in Singapore, Indonesia, Nigeria, and other origins with a reputation of fraudulent activity) will require payment via Western Union Money Transfer prior to the order being shipped. Note:The flat $6.99 processing/packaging fee applies to all orders in addition to actual international shipping charges. Order at your own risk, as we can be responsible only for providing proof of shipping, not for the actual receipt of the item(s) by the purchaser. Orders or items seized by Customs will not be replaced or reimbursed by World Wide Knives. If you have an item or items seized by Customs, you must go through the proper channels in your country to retrieve the item(s) if possible.
